Chen Maman
A Senior Caseworker accredited to LSC Level 2. Chen has been working for Trott and Gentry since December 2004 and has extensive experience in representing asylum seekers at all levels at the appeal stage including High Court and Court of Appeal cases.
Chen has also considerable experience in applications for entry clearance and family reunion. She has a particular interest in representing children and has gained considerable experience acting for asylum seekers from Somalia.
Chen obtained her Msc in Sociology from the LSE and has since completed her conversion to law diploma (GDL). She is now taking additional courses on a part time basis in International Human Rights Law and International Criminal Law. She completed a six months internship at the Legal Protection department of UNHCR in London and is experienced in conducing policy and country-specific research.
