Fiona Iliff
Fiona Iliff is a Level 2 Accredited Senior Immigration Caseworker. She grew up in Zimbabwe, and has a passion for human rights issues and asylum law. Prior to working at Trott & Gentry Solicitors, Fiona worked for the UN Refugee Agency. The majority of her clients are from Zimbabwe, Somalia and Eritrea, however she enjoys working with clients of all nationalities. She is experienced in working with particularly vulnerable clients, including domestic violence victims and detainees.
Fiona has expertise in providing legal advice and assistance on all immigration applications for leave to remain in the UK and applications for entry clearance to the UK. She also prepares appeals to the AIT, Court of Appeal and judicial review applications to the High Court.
Fiona has an LLB in Law and Spanish from the University of Edinburgh, and has completed the Legal Practice Course and Graduate LLB at Nottingham Law School. She speaks Spanish, French and German.
