Rudi Ramdarshan

Rudi is a Solicitor and Partner who has been with Trott & Gentry for over 5 years, initially specialising in Human Rights and Judicial Review. He was heavily involved the Administrative Court decision of The Queen on the Application of Lutete and Others [2007] EWHC 2331 which resulted in a temporary stay on removals to the DRC pending the decision in the country guidance case of BK. Other notable cases include the High Court case of MH & Ors v Secretary of State for the Home Department (Rev 1) [2008] EWHC 2525 (Admin) and the Court of Appeal case of Secretary of State for the Home Department v AHK & Ors [2009] EWCA Civ 287 which concerned the role of Special Advocates to assist the courts with determining the extent of disclosure to be made by the Secretary of State.

Having trained at Trott & Gentry, he has demonstrated particular aptitude in litigation, dispute resolution, employment and collective enfranchisement. Rudi is very approachable and has experience of representing both Claimants and Defendants at all levels including the High Court and Court of Appeal. As a result Rudi is able to maintain a balanced view throughout litigation. Rudi also has experience drafting commercial and employment contracts.
