Shenifa Alidina

Shenifa Alidina has been a solicitor with Trott & Gentry since she qualified in 2004. Shenifa was made a Partner of Trott & Gentry in 2009 and is the head of the family department specialising exclusively in family and matrimonial matters. Her experience extends to all family matters including Children Act (both private and public law), divorce, ancillary relief and domestic violence cases. She is also a member of Resolution and is on the Panel for the National Centre for Domestic Violence (NCDV). Shenifa's notable cases include Patel v Patel [2007] EWCA Civ 384 (12 April 2007) where we were successful in resisting an appeal against a committal order and R (Bibi) v. Camden LBC [2005] HLR1 which concerned a successful challenge of the local authority decision not to provide 3 bed roomed accommodation in circumstances where a joint residence order had been made.
