Our litigation team has the experience of dealing with cases across a broad spectrum from contractual disputes, property disputes, debt recovery to complex trust and estoppels disputes. We always have at the forefront of our minds that whether you are the Claimant or Defendant your legal costs should remain proportionate to the matter being litigated.
The head of our litigation department, Stanley Saffer, is an accredited mediator and therefore where appropriate we will assist you in reaching a successful settlement without the expense and stress of a full blown trial. It is against our principles at Trott & Gentry to allow Clients to enter into long and often arduous litigation unless it is felt that it is in their best interests.
On the other hand sometimes the best course of action maybe to take a matter all the way to trial and we will not hesitate to use the legal process to is upmost to protect your interest. This can mean making interim applications for summary judgement, strike out, interim payment or injunctions.
